I’ve been meaning to post a quick review of Amrezy & Lipland Cosmetics – – “Amrezy Collection” I actually purchased just one of her liquid lipsticks “Montenegro” it’s a nice deep plum color. Including “Montenegro” she has two other colors under the names; “Rezy” and “Brooklyn”

Q: WHO IS AMREZY?

A: If you’re not super involved or care much about the makeup world then you’re probably asking yourself this question. Amra Olević is her real name and she began her days as a blogger. Since then she has worked her way up in the beauty industry. Working with various companies including Lipland Cosmetics and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

… Wouldn’t it be awesome if she teamed up with ColourPop Cosmetics as well???

Funny thing, Ms. Rezy, (hopefully thats formal enough) is from a small country named: MONTENEGRO! (one of her lipstick names)

I’m assuming ‘Brooklyn‘ has to do with her being from NY, and ‘Rezy‘ is her nickname. Just a hunch 🙂

Q: What is ‘Lipland Cosmetics’ ?

A: I will be honest with you all, I had no idea what this cosmetic line was until Amrezy’s line. But this line has worked with other various IG/youtube users like @ssssmantha. They currently do not have an actual store, just an online website which features different lip products.

They recently added NEW shades of their liquid lipsticks & I AM DYING to purchase temple, nirvana, and empire… Alright maybe aventus too… I have a problem.

Review:

When her product first came out my initial thought was: these are BEAUTIFUL. I love deep/dark colored lipsticks so Montenegro AUTOMATICALLY stuck out to me like a sore thumb. I don’t really care for nudes so I didn’t bother purchasing ‘Rezy’ but I could work with ‘Brooklyn’ – I’m actually starting to really like the shade, it isn’t exactly a red shade… nor is it a hot pink shade. I feel like it is in between the two SO I’d say it is more of a deep watermelon color!

Now… let’s do some pros & cons:

Beautiful colors – I do believe Ms. Rezy chose 3 very versatile colors for various skin tones and colors. Here are some swatches from ‘theamrezycollection‘ IG:

**REMEMBER: EACH COLOR WILL LOOK DIFFERENT ON EVERY PERSON! ALSO CONSIDER FILTERS MAY BE USED, WHICH COULD CHANGE THE APPEARANCE OF EACH COLOR!

Very comfortable wear – This lipstick IS a matte, but the wear wasn’t as drying as other matte lipsticks. Comparing Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lipsticks, this formula isn’t overly drying at all!

C O N S

Not long lasting – Although this lipstick is a MATTE it isn’t as long lasting compared to Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lipsticks. I noticed that the lipstick would transfer when I ate and drank.

A bit overpriced – Maybe the pricing choice was decided by Lipland Cosmetics since their other liquid lipsticks are the same price, but in my own opinion $18.99 USD is a bit of a stretch. (BUT I could just be used to Colourpop) **with shipping I spent about $23 USD.

ANOTHER BUT … if you compare this price of $18.99 USD … it is cheaper than ‘higher-more well-known-brand‘ liquid lipsticks:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks – $ 20 USD
Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lipsticks & Liner – $29 USD
Tarte Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lip Paint – $20 USD

* It is more beneficial to buy MORE from Lipland Cosmetics in order to get ‘free shipping’ over $50 USD. (in the USA)

* the Amrezy Collection cannot be combined with discount codes! (Not that I know of… If DO know of some, LET US ALL KNOW!)

To Conclude My Review…

Q: Would I recommend Amrezy’s liquid lipsticks?

A: Yes! IF you don’t mind reapplying a few times! ALSO IF you don’t mind spending about 20 dollars on a liquid lipstick (to be honest, as I’ve noted, many liquid lipsticks are around the $18-20 USD range)

BUT if you DO have a problem with constantly reapplying… and don’t want to spend that much I would say … It isn’t worth it for you.
