I’m sure you all have heard the buzz about a new collab from ColourPop Cosmetics. If you follow them on their instagram, snapchat (colourpopco), or even twitter you’d know they are currently in the works with Karrueche Tran. Let’s go over the basics first…
WHO is miss Tran? Well, since her breakup with R&B singer Chris Brown she has made a name for herself in fashion and apparently makeup as well!
WHAT is ColourPop? If you don’t wear makeup often ColourPop could be a new and surprising makeup line to you. In my own opinion I believe every girl should at least have one good lip product for day and night. ColourPop is the way to go, the prices are amazingly cheap (cheaper than drugstore products), and if you haven’t shopped there before you can receive $5 USD OFF your first purchase if you subscribe via e-mail. Based in LA they have done many collabs with various makeup artists. Their collection includes ultra matte liquid lipsticks, lip pencils, lip stix, eyeshadows, blushes, and MORE.

“KaePop” is scheduled to launch TOMORROW (Thursday, February 4th)

According to Essence.com, the “KaePop” line will include 3 matte liquid lipsticks, two bronzers, and four shadows. I also believe she has a blush in her collection (basing it off of this photo from colourpopco‘s snapchat:
I know for certain one of her bronzers is called “Glo Up” (top swatch)

This is a very exciting line for all makeup-lovers around the world! I will most likely be purchasing tomorrow. *crossing my fingers* everything I want won’t be sold out.
My favorites are all three of her ultra matte liquid lipsticks… I will be purchasing those FOR SURE! 🙂
Now, you may be wondering (if you’ve never purchased colourpop before) …..
Q: Are these products GOOD?
I know that will be put to question because their products are so cheap. Ultimately people who have never tried this line will be suspicious.
Have no fear, I am here to tell you about it!
A: ColourPop products in my own opinion are worth every penny.
In the past, I’ve purchased an ultra matte liquid lipstick and lippiestix. The ultra matte liquid lipsticks dry VERY MATTE. It’s important to exfoliate your lips beforehand. The lippiestix’s are matte as well but NOT as drying. What’s great about these lip products is they won’t come off no matter what you eat or drink!
I haven’t had the chance to sample their eyeshadows or the rest of their line but I do know they all have good pigments/quality.
